Review

We did a lot of catering the last two months, because of that I had not much time for new posts. Sorry for that!!! =)

In November we had the back door banquet at the Carman Community Hall. We served a group of 370 guests and it was an amazing challenge we loved it. After the big event some smaller ones with 30 and 50 people followed, and of course we always did and do our best to cook delicious food. Certainly, there were a few new challenges too, therefor we did some special menus, and they turned out really good. 

I would like to apologize  again, when I don't write as much as I should, but like everybody know I love to cook and bake and that's my first priority.

At the end I also would like to mention something very imported; at our big events we had a team of helpers and I would like to thank everybody for the amazing job they did.

Home Made Pulled Pork

We had a catering and we made for the Customer Pulled Pork and Cole slaw.

We used fresh Pork Loin for it and made a home made BBQ Sauce. With Brown Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Curry; Chilli; Paprika; Onion; Garlic powder  ground black Pepper, Worcestershiresauce, and Ketchup. 
For the Cole Slaw, we shredded the white Cabbage, red Cabbage and Carrots.  The Dressing was made out of Mayonaise, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sugar, black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper and ground Caraway seeds. 

Everything was fresh made for 80 People and the Customer and Guests really liked the Food.

Starting a New Adventure

Hello,  I will introduce our self.
I am Susi and with my Husband Gerhard, we took over Country Style Catering from Sylvia .
We are originally from Germany and Immigrated in 2007.  
First we lived in Winnipeg and moved to the Carman Area in 2011.

I have experience in the Food Industry since 1986. 
I started an apprenticeship as a Deli Server and Meat cutter. We did lot of catering there. I worked in Restaurants, as a server and cook.  
My Husband was a Long Haul Truck Driver, and being away from home is hard on Family. He will support me in this Business and together we are the perfect  team.

I work in the Carman Collegiate Canteen for two years now, and I love it. The Interaction with the Students and the Staffs are great.  

If you are planning an event, we would love to serve you with our knowledge throughout your event. Please contact us and we go through the Menu and find the perfect cuisine for it. 
We will have a wide Variety of Cuisine, German, Italian, Greek and of course we are keeping Sylvia's Menu.
We understand food allergies and we will provide on request, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg free and more.

Our Food will be cooked and baked fresh, for your Event.
